This is the SAME judge!! This is REAL kindnappinh!!! Verdict - 3.5 years!!!
LIGHT SENTENCE FOR COLLABORATOR-KIDNAPPER The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Holon resident Shmuel Akshoteh, 50,to 3.5 years in prison today for abducting two Arab collaborators and turning one of them over to the Palestinian Authority. The second Arab was imprisoned by the PA for a number of months until he managed to escape. In payment for his crime, Akshoteh received a 5,000 shekel check from the PA,which was later not honored by the bank because of lack of funds. Sentencing Judge Oded Mudrick was very critical of the crime, but handed down the light sentence in accordance with a previously-reached plea bargain agreement. The prosecution agreed to the arrangement because of the defendant's difficult financial situation.
